Directions:
Wash 5 quarts (5 L) of Saskatoon’s with clean water to remove microorganisms and dirt
Put berries in blender on “chop”
Add 3/4 cup (175 ml) sugar for every 1 cup (250ml) of berries
Mix in 1 can (240 ml) of crushed pineapple and juice
Let stand until sugar is dissolved, stirring often
Process filled jars (250ml) in boiling water canner
Follow canning instructions for HIGH ACID foods
Mixture can also be frozen instead of canned
